Welcome to Becoming Arts
Can’t draw a stick figure? That’s ok! Not an artist? YES you are! Let’s go get creative. Becoming Arts workshops with me, Jenny T., is an opportunity for you to make art without having an expectation of an outcome. Change your mind about your relationship with making art and reconnect with your inner artist. It’s a time to experiment, dig into your intuition, kick out your inner critic and just make some art.
Becoming Arts helps you reconnect with your heart and your soul; your inner artist, your inner child, your creative, happy, laughing, thoughtful, unique self. There is NO ONE like you. You are an amazing shining light. Sometimes we forget, especially when we are just going through the motions and dragging through the monotony of what everyday life can be like. We just forget.
Sometimes we don’t make art because we see a vision of what we want to create in our head. We have an expectation. We have outside expectations of what we should be doing, making and creating. We unfortunately are perfectionists. Our world demands that we are perfect at things right away or we need to do something else. Art is not that way.
Your art and the creations you make are no one else’s business. Your art is an expression of who you are. ANYTHING you create is a little piece of you that is now visible. It’s gorgeous! It’s amazing! It didn’t exist until YOU created it! How remarkable!
Becoming Arts hopes to change the narrative for people allowing themselves to be creative and for being comfortable making art, just to make art. The intent is to encourage and empower confident creators…to remind you that it is NOT the outcome, product or “success” of the art you make, it’s how you feel, what you discover and tap into when you’re creating.
ANYONE can make art.
EVERYONE should make art.
